Age of the Kingdoms - ProloguePrologueFinally FoundThe General was looking forward to the possibility of meeting her old friend again.A breeze blew through the night, rustling the pine needles lightly. The sky was clear and the moon a crescent. She hoped it would stay that way, at least until the end of the night, rather than the constant switch between a cool breeze and a chilling gale. However, even the now-calm weather could not lower the tension around her, around all of them. The middle-aged woman noted the trees were beginning to thin. We are close. She was straining for the faintest noise, the smallest movement, or the slightest whiff. A few more minutes passed before she caught the scent of urine once more.At once, the timber wolves rose into view from the hills on either side of them and the trees behind them, ears back and silent. Why are they attacking now? She asked herself. All of the othe

It was Kairi's that night. The ship had two small dolls in it, one was a girl the other a boy. As she shared up at the ship Sora's words from a few days ago drifted into her head."I'd like to see it too, along with any other worlds out there. I wanna see 'em all…"Suddenly Kairi heard a low rumbling sound outside the window a

"But, I'll comply.""Well then, can you show us to a library holding information on or introduce us to an alchemist that has detailed information on Biological Transmutation?"The black-haired woman blinked. "Right this moment?""Yes. We want to restore ourselves as soon as possible, remember?"Mustang stood and strolled over to the shelf full of books and files and run a finger over one row."Hmm…let's see…where is he?" the female solider muttered to herself. "You know, Fullmetal, it has being a while since we last met. How about we have a chat over tea?""Do I look like an old la

SFMA: AV Chapter 2Chapter 2Body of the SanctionedEdwina, and Alphonsa, who had managed to make her way over to her sister, stood silently in front of Rosé and Cornello. Rosé was still recovering from the shock of seeing Edwina's automail arm and leg."I see, that is how is. I wondered why a brat like you would have such a title as Fullmetal," Cornello said, before addressing Rosé again. "Rosé, in alchemy it is forbidden to transmute things into gold. In addition to this, there is one more thing that is forbidden: Human Transmutation."Rosé gasped. What were these girls thinking?"What foolish children you are, experimenting with alchemy without knowing the consequences!" Cornello said to the two teenagers."No! We…" Alphonsa began."Al!""We…" Alphonsa trailed off as she remembered. If she were human, she would have started to cry at these memories. "We just wanted to see our mum's smile again…"

Edwina said, looking though yet another book."That stone that priest had was fake, so we have lost another clue," Alphonsa replied."Maybe we should return to Central City for now."Alphonsa looked around at the leather-bound books again, when she spotted a familiar one. "Nee-san, look!"The older girl looked at the book."An Introduction to Alchemy. Doesn'tit bring back memories?" Alphonsa asked."Really?" Edwina took the book of her little sister and opening it at a page. It was a page detailing how to draw a transmutation circle. Al's right, Edwina thought. This reminds me of…"This is boring!" the blonde haired 6-year-old boy, Winter Rockbell, complained. H

Philip replied, the pen poised."I'm supposed to take your name," Amelia told her new husband. "It's tradition.""Well, sorry, dear, but I don't care," Philip replied with a smile bearing a touch of smugness, before placing the pen on the paper. "It's sexist to expect a woman to throw away her identity and become an accessory to her spouse. And don't say I'm doing the very same. I'm being different." He finished writing and handed the stationary to Amelia. "Go on, sweetheart."The woman stood silently for a few moments before taking the object and writing 'Amelia Sanders' in the 'wife' box. She left the maiden name box blank, of course."Congratulations," the man said as he placed the paper in an envelope for protection. "You are now legality and fully married."When she heard this, Amelia's wo

A Rant On: Fullmetal AlchemistA Rant On: "Fullmetal Alchemist"Hello, everyone, this is NaokoElric2250 and this is my first ever rant.I shall begin with a general statement:Female authors who write Shonen, (or any story featuring main male protagonists); need to get their act together. It is disgusting just how much they will discriminate against their own gender, and need to start learning to respect it.In some cases, their level of sexism against women is on par with that of male authors, and fans seem to not notice or dismiss the fact that they use the exact same sexist traits and tropes as the males, purely because they are female, which is classic Double Standard sexism in itself. I am speaking of course, of the likes of Masashi Kishimoto, Noriaki "Tite" Kubo and others like them.Their stories are often devoid of a good, smart, strong, knowledgeable (as in knowing what is happening in the story, sharing the knowledge of the male characters) female presence who dress sensibly. Instead, they
